🎯 What Is Tandem Mode?

Tandem Mode is a built-in training feature available on all DriftKart D1 models. It uses a sensor-based visual feedback system to help you understand how close you are to:

  • Another kart
  • A cone or clipping point
  • A wall or edge marker

As you get closer, the kart’s system lights up:

  • 🟢 Green: Safe proximity
  • 🟡 Yellow: Getting close
  • 🔴 Red: Danger zone — you're nearly touching - and also doing really good if you can always get it to red and not touch!

This teaches you real spatial awareness, which is the hardest thing to learn in solo drifting.

🔧 How to Use Tandem Mode

Every D1 comes ready with sensor mounts and pre-installed Tandem Mode logic.

  • Set your kart to Tandem Practice
  • Place a kart or cone in front of you
  • Watch the visual cue system as you drift closer
  • Adjust line, speed, or angle accordingly

You can even use it solo with cones — great for learning apexing and exit clipping point drills.
